We're excited to announce Acqua Via's first-ever food and wine event! On Saturday, September 17th, Acqua Via and Kirsop Farm will present a one-of-a-kind, 15-course dinner. You know Kirsop Farm as one of the Olympia Farmers Market's founding vendors; each year, Kirsop offers our community a wide array of delicious organic produce. We are delighted to partner with Colin and Genine for Acqua Via's first food-and-wine celebration.
We will convene at Acqua Via at 5:00 pm for Chef Will Taylor's first 5 courses. We will then walk outside to the curb and board a bus, for a short, 15-minute ride to the farm, southwest of Tumwater. At the farm, we will sit down at table for our second 5 courses. We will then pour a glass of Champagne and take a walking tour of the farm. At the conclusion of the tour, we will sit down for our final 5 courses, then board the bus back to Olympia. We will be joined by renowned Olympia artist and author, Nikki McClure whose wonderful new book, "To Market, To Market" honors the Olympia Farmers Market and our connection to the land. Also at the farm, we will enjoy the music of Vince Brown while we eat. Talk about an amazing evening! To honor Kirsop's commitment to organic agriculture, each of the featured wines is organically or biodynamically produced.
